Embryologist Tuğberk Kopça graduated from the English-language undergraduate programme in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Near East University in 2019, and went on to pursue his academic work in the field of medical genetics.
Following his undergraduate degree, he completed a full-time master’s programme in Medical Genetics at London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. He combined the academic background he gained in molecular biology, human genetics and the genetic basis of disease with his work in assisted reproductive technologies.
Having begun the PhD programme in Medical Genetics at Near East University in 2020, Tuğberk Kopça is continuing his doctoral studies at the thesis stage. Throughout his education he has gained knowledge and experience in molecular genetics, medical genetics and reproductive biology.
Since September 2021 he has worked as an embryologist at Vita Altera IVF Center. At the centre he continues his work in the daily running of the embryology laboratory, assisted reproductive technique procedures, the monitoring of embryo development and the handling of laboratory processes.
Combining his academic training in molecular biology and medical genetics with his embryology experience, Tuğberk Kopça follows scientific developments closely and continues his work under Vita Altera IVF Center.
