Success Rates Can Vary by Treatment Type
At Vita Altera IVF, the treatment method is determined on a personalized basis after evaluating the current medical findings of the couple or the patient.
Our success rates for the selected treatment groups range between 65% and 81%, with the arithmetic mean of the four groups calculated as 75.75%.
When rounded, this results in an overall average of 76% for the selected treatment groups. However, each patient’s individual chance of success should be evaluated separately.

How Are Treatment Groups Evaluated?
The way each treatment group is planned and the key factors affecting success can differ from one another.
IVF / ICSI Treatment
In IVF and ICSI treatments using the patient’s own eggs, factors such as female age, ovarian reserve, number of eggs retrieved, sperm parameters, fertilization rate, and embryo development can influence the likelihood of success. In the ICSI method, a selected sperm cell is injected directly into the egg.
Egg Donation
In egg donation treatment, the donor’s age, health assessments, and the developmental characteristics of the retrieved eggs are important. The recipient’s uterine structure, endometrial preparation, hormone levels, and general health status are also evaluated together before the transfer.
Sperm Donation
In sperm donation treatment, it is important that the donor sperm has undergone the necessary health and laboratory evaluations. However, the age and characteristics of the egg, ovarian reserve, the fertilization process, and embryo development continue to play a role in the chance of success.
Embryo Donation
In embryo donation, the characteristics of the egg and sperm cells that formed the embryo, the embryo’s developmental stage, the freezing and thawing process, and the pre-transfer endometrial preparation are evaluated together. The recipient’s endometrial condition and general health are important factors in transfer planning.
Factors Influencing Treatment Success
Even when the same treatment method is applied, each patient’s medical condition is unique. Therefore, success rates should not be interpreted as definitive results without personalized evaluation.
Patient’s Age
In treatments using the patient’s own eggs, age is evaluated alongside ovarian reserve, egg quantity, and embryo development potential.
Ovarian Reserve
AMH, antral follicle count, and response to previous treatments help determine the medication protocol and treatment plan to be applied.
Endometrium and Uterine Structure
Endometrial development, the condition of the uterine cavity, and findings such as polyps, fibroids, or intrauterine fluid are evaluated by the physician prior to transfer.
Sperm Characteristics
Sperm count, motility, morphological features, and any additional assessments deemed necessary can influence the choice of fertilization method.
