I was born in Sakarya in 1982. After graduating from the Laboratory Department of Bursa Uludağ University in 2003, I decided to build my career in assisted reproductive technologies and embryology.

From 2004 onwards I worked at various IVF centres in Istanbul, gaining considerable experience in the running of embryology laboratories, assisted reproductive techniques, the monitoring of embryo development and laboratory quality processes. During this period I had the opportunity to work with different patient groups and treatment protocols.

In 2006 I took up a post as founding embryologist in charge in Erbil, Iraq. There I played an active role in the establishment, organisation and running of the embryology laboratory. I worked on setting laboratory standards, building the team structure and ensuring that practices were carried out in line with international quality criteria.

From 2010 I began working as founding embryologist in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over many years I continued my work in laboratory management, embryo culture, quality control practices and assisted reproductive technologies. The professional experience I gained in different countries allowed me to approach embryology from a broader and more versatile perspective.

As of 2021 I have been working at the Vita Altera IVF Centre. Here I contribute to the meticulous handling of all embryology laboratory processes, the maintenance of high quality standards and the delivery of a reliable laboratory service to our patients.

In my professional approach I attach great importance to following scientific developments closely, to precision and discipline in laboratory processes, and to treating every patient’s treatment journey with the same care. I continue to draw on my many years of national and international experience to support couples on their journey to having a child in the most accurate and reliable way.

I am married with two children.
