Bilge Sedef Özer

I am a specialist psychologist with over eleven years of experience in the healthcare field, spanning the disciplines of nursing and clinical psychology. Following my nursing education, I worked in public and private hospitals across various clinical units, particularly in emergency departments. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Ankara Social Sciences University and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Cyprus International University. Throughout my education, I gained clinical observation and hands-on experience by working as a trainee psychologist in special education and rehabilitation centers. I completed my master’s thesis in clinical psychology with a study titled “Failure and Acute Depression in IVF Treatment: Psychological Effects and Risk Factors,” which was conducted with individuals undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. In my clinical practice, I primarily adopt the cognitive behavioral therapy approach and provide psychological support especially to individuals and couples experiencing infertility and undergoing the IVF process.
